Top 10 Bible Curriculum Picks for Christian Homeschoolers in 2025

What if your Bible homeschool curriculum time didn’t feel like dragging your kids through Leviticus before coffee? What if it was something they actually looked forward to — and maybe... you did too?

After all, as my homeschool dad used to say: "There’s nothing else. If God is true, everything else fades into insignificance."

If you're looking for a way to make homeschool Bible curriculum more engaging, enjoyable, and meaningful, you're in the right place.

I've rounded up my top 10 favorite Bible homeschool curriculums for 2025. These are fun, flexible, and deeply Gospel-centered.

And just to save you from drowning in 47 browser tabs, I made you a free Bible Curriculum Snapshot PDF you can download here.

It compares these programs side-by-side so you can stop doom-scrolling and start deciding.

Not Consumed is a popular homeschool bible curriculum with devotionals, bible homeschool planners and more.

Heads up—this post contains affiliate links, so if you decide to purchase this curriculum here, thank you! It helps support our small homeschool family. 💛

1. Not Consumed

This one’s for ages 2 to 18 — yep, they’ve managed to cover everyone from potty-training toddlers to teens who roll their eyes for sport. 🙃

They offer:

  • Beautifully designed devotionals (see pictures above)

  • Bible studies for teens

  • Full homeschool Bible curriculum

The topics are wildly relevant to Christian homeschool life: think sibling rivalry, bitterness, obedience, and attitudes — aka, all the things that bubble up when someone didn't put away the math manipulatives.

Pricing:

  • Individual studies: $5–$15

  • Bundles: around $45

  • Full Bible courses: $50–$100

Everything is paper-based, with physical or printable PDFs. Homeschool moms in the forums were shouting: "YES! Get Not Consumed!" And I agree.

Biblioplan is a popular history bible homeschool curriculum combination.

2. BiblioPlan

Want to combine Bible, literature, and history? BiblioPlan is a classical homeschool Bible curriculum with a Charlotte Mason flair. Grades K–12.

It’s great for large families because you can:

  • Use it with multiple ages at once

  • Choose between live, self-paced, or hybrid Zoom courses

  • Add audio components for $25

It may not be flashy, but the content is rock solid. Expect to pay about $120–$140 for the main program.

answers in genesis science AND BIBLE curriculum.

3. Answers in Genesis

This one follows a 4-year chronological cycle — from Genesis to Revelation. It’s a hands-on Bible curriculum that includes:

  • Short video lessons

  • Memory verse songs from Seeds Kids Worship

  • Quizzes

  • Fun activities (yes, even with hand gestures — I see you, kinesthetic learners!)

It’s perfect for multi-sensory, Christian homeschoolers who like structure but still want joy baked in.

Christian light education offers a bible curriculum for homeschoolers.

4. Christian Light Education (CLE)

Traditional. Structured. No fluff.

CLE is built around small booklets (called LightUnits), making it super easy to use and very open-and-go.

Worth noting:

  • Some pacifist leanings

  • They sent me an anti-Calvinist pamphlet once. No joke. 😅

Still, it’s a favorite for families who want a straightforward Bible program without needing to prep crafts and visuals.

5. MasterBooks

Looking for a gentle Bible homeschool curriculum? MasterBooks has you covered.

It’s gospel-centered, Charlotte Mason-inspired, and often built around living books and engaging stories.

Their Bible curriculum is tucked under the "Electives" section (sneaky), and it covers junior high through high school.

Great theology + short lessons = win.

PLUS they include a lot of curriculum from Generations (I’ll cover that further down the page but didn’t want to double up!)

6. BJU Press Bible (with Video Lessons)

This is what we use personally, and I LOVE it.

Thanks to a back problem, I can't teach all day — but with BJU Press, I just say, "Luke, off you go!"

He logs into the Homeschool Hub, watches the teacher-led videos, and completes his work independently.

It’s:

  • Gospel-focused

  • Biblically sound

  • Visually polished

  • Extremely mom-friendly

It’s a premium Bible homeschool curriculum, but absolutely worth it.

Generations Christian homeschooling curriculum is wonderful with incorporating scriptures into lessons.

7. Generations bible Curriculum

Generations is serious about making Bible the core of education.

Their programs include:

  • Proverbs workbooks (elementary to high school)

  • Scripture memory catechisms

  • Family Bible studies

This is a deep-dive discipleship curriculum that covers Bible, history, English, and more.

Perfect for Christian families who want to build a homeschool centered around biblical worldview training.

For a classical homeschool curriculum with bible, checkout Modern Parables by Compass Classroom.

8. Modern Parables (Compass Classroom)

This one surprised me in the best way.

It’s a video-based (classical) Bible study for ages 10+ that turns Jesus’ parables into modern short films.

Like the Good Samaritan as a cigarette-smoking Middle Easterner... while the church deacon drives right past the guy who got mugged. 🤯

Each lesson includes:

  • A film

  • Discussion questions

  • Booklets

Great for family discipleship nights or small group study.

9. Science Shepherd – Unearthing the Bible

Want to combine archaeology and Bible? Science Shepherd is a unique one.

It includes:

  • Short daily video lessons

  • PDF workbook and answer key

  • Options for DVD or online

Designed for ages 8+, it’s open-and-go, visual, and awesome for kids who love digging into both Scripture and evidence.

10. The Good Gospel by The Peaceful Press

If you have young children, this is a gentle and beautiful way to introduce them to Jesus.

The Good Gospel includes:

  • 26 lessons featuring Bible stories, memory verses, and declarations

  • Crafts, coloring pages, and fine art to help kids engage creatively

  • Printable traceable verses for handwriting practice

  • A music bundle with all 26 verses set to song (perfect for auditory learners!)

It’s not a full Bible curriculum for older kids, but it’s a wonderful preschool or early elementary supplement that helps lay a solid Gospel foundation.

You can use it at home or in Sunday School. Simple, sweet, and full of truth.
